Maria Assumpta Convent School has always been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for individual thinkers and holistic development of a child’s personality. The Academic Year commenced from 2nd April, 2024 with a mission to impart quality education and inculcate the right spirit and positive attitude amongst the students. Throughout the Academic Session a collage of achievements, activities and celebrations were held which has made us proud. At present school has 2903 in roll from Nursery to Class XII. There are 105 teaching staff and 27 non - teaching staff.

(2023-24). The students of our school brought laurels by getting good percentage in class X and XII.
Total 185 students from class Xll and 232 from class X appeared for the board examination. Overall
passing percentage of Class X is 97.20% and Class XII is 94.00%.

Summer Holidays began from 25th May to 31st June 2024. School reopened after the summer break on 1st July, 2024.

- ‘Run for Fitness' Marathon and SARVA DHARM SAMBHAV SAMMELAN, interfaith prayer meeting was held on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd Oct.
- To showcase the feelings of patriotism Independence Day was celebrated meaningfully. Different activities were conducted on Independence Day celebration.
- Candle March was held on 17th august 2024 to spread awareness of justice for the victims of harassment in different parts of our country.
- Alumni Meet was conducted on 2nd November 2024 to strengthen the ties between alumni’s and Alma-Mater.

Summer Camp – 2024:
The summer camp for classes 1 to 8 and extra classes for 9 to 12 started on 16th May 2024 and
culminated on 25th May, 2024. Fun filled activities were conducted for children to learn new skills
during summer camp.
The camp concluded with exhibition where children had displayed what they learnt during the camp.

The committee of art and craft, organized various activities for different classes throughout the session like Ornament , Portrait, Rakhi, Flower, Bell, Wreath, Rangoli, Diya, Joy stick and Flag making, Earthen vase decoration, Pot Painting, clay modeling. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and performed commendably.

MORNING ASSEMBLY:
There was active participation of students from different classes and sections for conducting assembly. Universal Prayer, Day prayer and Hymns were conducted with devotion. Children spoke articles on various topics with confidence. School band and musical instruments played by students added devotion and meaning to the assembly. We had special assembly on National festivals.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY
Investiture ceremony for Senior Secondary and Primary was held on 27th April, 2024 and 15th May, 2024 respectively; to showcase their leadership skills and abilities of the students. This was created not only; just to support system for our school administration but also to make them responsible future leaders of our nation.

OBITUARY
Our school lost one of the outstanding staff member Ma’am Harpreet Kaur on 26th Oct. 2024. and Shashank Kumar Class 6th student on 25th July 2024. Prayer service was conducted to extend our tribute to them.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Parent–Teacher Meetings were organized on regular basis. This year we had 4 PTMs. It gave opportunities to the parents to know about their wards’ activities in the school and also to give feedback on the progress of their wards. (Dates- 4th May 2024, 4th Sep 2024, 16th Oct 2024 and 31st Dec 2024)
